Mahela captain of IPL’s Team Kochi

Expectedly, Kochi IPL team has announced that it will be captained by Mahela Jayawardene. The official announcement came on Twitter. After Sourav Ganguly announced his retirement from all forms of cricket, it was 
clear that IPL team Kochi would go for Mahela Jayawardene. Team Kochi was reportedly pushing for Ganguly to be included in the team. Mahela has a pretty good record as the captain of Sri Lanka, though he had a disappointing season for Kings XI.
